Now you should begin reading the lessons in your textbook and perform every Hands-On exercise. If you run into a problem with an exercise step, take two to three minutes longer to figure it out, then stop and try the two solutions below:
- If you can't get the exercise step to work, try starting the exercise again.
- If the exercise still doesn't work, send an email message to your instructor.
When you complete the lesson
At the end of the lesson you will find a Concepts Review page with questions for you to answer. You will answer these questions in the Self-Test stage of the lesson.
Concepts Review Questions
- Take the Concepts Review Self-Test Quiz for this lesson. You will find a link to this quiz in the Unit 1 folder of this Blackboard course. This quiz is not graded.
- The quiz questions are based on key skills and knowledge presented in the lesson and will help you gauge your mastery of the material. If you give an incorrect answer, a page reference will appear. It is recommended that you review these pages and then try the self-test quiz again.
- The Skill Builder section of the lesson contains exercises that give you additional practice with key skills and knowledge presented in the lesson. If you can perform these exercises successfully, you should be able to pass the unit test online quiz and the Assessment Exercises.
- After you have completed one or more Skill Builder, you are finished with this lesson.
Unless your teacher assigns them, you are not required to perform the Assessment Exercises at the end of the lesson.
